Saturday 19th:
Salvation Army: 1. Early Bird Breakfast
Two people are required to prepare and serve breakfast at their shelter for up to 40 visitors.
Salvation Army: 2. Dinner (evening meal)
We need 4-6 volunteers to prepare a dinner OFF-SITE for up to 40 people, then bring it to the shelter and serve it up. (The shelter has no kitchen so the food preparation needs to be done at the home(s) of team members.
Carrefour Rue 1. Cleanup
Their center for single moms is having a major cleanup with many items needing to be thrown out.
Carrefour Rue 2. Gardening
Some garden maintenance is needed at their HQ.
Clair Bois
This center for handicapped kids would like a team to provide an extended outing and a party for the kids.
Zoo Bellevue
This animal sanctuary in Versoix needs some clean-up help from volunteers.
La Corolle (L’Arche)
Two or three of their homes will have some maintenance/painting work for volunteers, who will also be invited to eat with the residents.
Sunday 20th:
Resto’Scout
This regular Sunday soup kitchen near the main Geneva train station needs volunteers to prepare and serve the evening meal.
Partage (sorting of collected food and groceries)
On Monday morning, 21st July, from 8 am to 11.45 am, we need 8-12 volunteers to sort and stack food items collected for later distribution to needy people in the community.
